Luanda - Angola has made 153 billion kwanzas available in commercial banks for local investors living in the Diaspora and beyond, the director of the Office of Studies and Strategic Analyses of the Presidency of the Republic, Norberto Garcia, said Monday.

According to Norberto Garcia, who was speaking to the press on the sidelines of the First National Meeting with the Angolan Community Residing in the Diaspora, in addition to these figures, 35 million hectares of arable land are also available for investors.

"As the Studies Office, the problem has already been identified, now it's time to find solutions to attract national investors, because they are the Executive's priority," he said.

Norberto Garcia said the Angolan investors in the Diaspora will count on the National Movement Association Angola Real (MONAAR) to help in the process of facilitating possible investors.

Run under the motto: Angola in the current political, economic and social context, the meeting, which runs until April 3, is being attended by 300 Angolan delegations living in the Diaspora. LIN/AC/TED/AMP
