Luanda- Angola has increased, in recent months, the exports of Liquefied Natural Gas to Europe, produced from the Angola LNG factory, located in Soyo, northern Zaire province.
The country increased its exports of the product to some European counties like France, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Poland, the United Kingdom and Portugal, the company’s executive director said on Wednesday.
Amadeu de Azevedo, who was speaking during the consultation visit by the president of the Court of Auditors, Exalgina Gamboa, to the production unit, said the Middle East region was the main export market for Liquefied Natural Gas.
"But since the third quarter of the last year, the delivery of the product to the European market has increased", said the manager, quoted by Angola’s National Radio Station as saying.
Amadeu de Azevedo also informed that from the beginning of the production, in 2013, until 2021, 325 shipments of Liquefied Natural Gas and 69 shipments of Butane Gas were exported.
