Talatona - The Chairman of the Board of Directors of AIPEX, Arlindo Rangel, on Thursday in Luanda, defended greater promotion of investment and strengthening of economic partnerships at the level of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP).
Arlindo Rangel said that the continuity of stimulating, boosting investment and promoting cooperation at the CPLP level are two goals in view of AIPEX.
Speaking at the opening of the 1st Forum of Trade and Investment Promotion Agencies of the CPLP, he said that cooperation between CPLP members is also one of AIPEX's priorities, as it allows for better work in the food export process.
The official said that the meeting represents a significant milestone in the joint strengthening mission between the CPLP countries.
The event, according to the PCA, plays a role in facilitating strategic partnerships and promoting a favorable business environment that attracts responsible long-term investments.
'The member countries of the CPLP share not only a rich cultural heritage, which translates into ties of cooperation, but also that go beyond geographical borders, aiming to maintain the commitment to boost the economic and sustainable growth of the countries,' he said.
Arlindo Rangel said that Angola has already defined its priorities, but rather than importing, it intends to work on food exports.
He stressed that the CPLP countries aim to take advantage of the opportunities that exist for sustainable investment, and that can generate value for future generations among the member states of the Portuguese-speaking community.
The event, which served to exchange experiences, will identify mechanisms to boost and increase the flow of business, investments and trade between CPLP member countries.
