Luanda - The Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency (AIPEX) wants to see more national companies internationalized through exports, in order to allow local products to be sold in foreign markets.
The director of AIPEX, José Chinjamba said at the opening of the training course on the export process that his organization's activity is based on two pillars, namely attracting investment and promoting exports.
"As the government also plans to increase exports, there is an urgent need to improve and update knowledge on how, what and which markets are eligible for exporting certain products," he emphasized.
In turn, the CEO of the New Custom and Tax Academy (ANAT), Leitão António, considered that export activity is essential in the process of developing a country's economy.
The Cuban speaker, Reinier Martinez, who presented the topic "Fundamental Concepts on Exporting", explained that exporting involves important processes or requirements such as knowledge of the country where the goods are destined, procedures and that market's interest in the goods to be exported.
Information on legislation and inspection, according to the Cuban professor, are also essential in the export process.
The two-day training course on the Export Process, organized by the New Customs and Tax Academy (ANAT) in partnership with AIPEX, aims to train national and foreign economic operators in the export sector.
Participants are discussing the fundamental concepts of exporting, negotiating and analyzing documents and customs clearance. ML/AC/DAN/DOJ
