Luanda - The 37th edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA) will not start on Tuesday, 12, as planned, with the pre-opening scheduled for Friday, 15.
According to a note from Eventos Arena, to which Angop had access and which does not give a new date for the fair to start, the assembly of the pavilions will take place until Thursday, 14.
Available data indicates that the 37th edition of FILDA expects over 600 companies from countries such as Portugal, Italy, Namibia, Poland, the United Kingdom, Spain, China and South Korea to take part.
In this edition, the fair will be held under the motto "Disruptive Technologies as a Factor for Economic Development".
The 36th edition of FILDA, held in 2021, from 30 November to 3 December, brought together at least 300 national exhibitors and focused on the technology sector, which supports the development of agribusiness and industry.
The event was attended by companies from South Africa, Germany, Argentina, China, Eritrea, France, India, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Japan, Lebanon, the United States and Portugal.
The first Luanda International Fair was held in 1983.
