Luena - The 1st Angola/Zambia Business Forum kicks off Wednesday in Angola’s eastern Moxico province, with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation relations through debates on matters of common interest.
The event will be attended by 40 Zambian businesspeople from the neighboring North West and Western provinces, under an initiative of the Moxico Provincial government, in collaboration with the Moxico and Mungo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Zambia).
This inaugural edition of the Angola/Zambia Business Forum is in line with the commitments to strengthen relations between the Moxico Provincial Government and Zambia's border provinces, reflecting the strong partnership that has developed over the last few years.
Networking sessions and the presentation of investment opportunities, discussions on economic development, infrastructure and bilateral cooperation, as well as a business fair, are all activities that will guide the annual event.
The Forum finishes on June 29 with visits to projects and the signing of letters of intent, as well as a press conference. YD/AMP
