Luena – The coach of the Jovens de Hoje Football Club, Hélder Bosco, said on Tuesday in Moxico Province that he intends to reach the quarter-finals of the Angolan Cup, Angola's second biggest football competition.
The Moxico-based team on Wednesday will play Braga Football Club in Dinizes field in Ndalatando, Cuanza Norte Province, in the first preliminary stage of the Angola League Cup.
The wining team will play Luanda City FC in the second stage on 10 April.
Making a preview analysis of the match, coach Hélder Bosco said that in their fifth appearance in this competition, the club aim to reach the quarter-finals, after having reached the round of 16 on two occasions.
The club's first elimination in the round of 16 happened in 2021, when they lost 2-6 to 1º de Agosto, while in 2023, at the same stage, they were beaten 0-11 by Petro de Luanda, thus being eliminated from the competition.
