Luanda - Académica do Lobito lost 1-3 to Club Africain from Tunisia, in the second round match (group C) of the African Football Confederation (CAF) Cup, known as the Nelson Mandela Trophy.
The match was played on Sunday at the 11 de Novembro Stadium, in Luanda Province.
The goals were scored by Bassem (twice), in the 46th and 75th minutes, Hamdi Labidi (53') for the visitors, while Samuel reduced the score difference for the hosts.
Bassem (2) and Hamdi Labidi (1) scored for Club Africain, while Samuel (1) scored for Académica do Lobito.
This is the team's second defeat, having lost 0-3 to Rivers United of Nigeria in the first round.
Meanwhile, another Angolan representative in the competition Sagrada Esperança da Lunda lost 0-1 to Libyan Abu Salem Sports Club in the second round match (group B).
