Luanda – Académica do Lobito drew 1-1 this Sunday, in Radès, with Club Africain of Tunisia, in a game for the 6th round of Group C of the African Football Confederation (CAF) Cup, played at the Olympique Hamadi Agrebi Stadium.
The goals were scored by Eduwo (58'), for the home team, and Samuel (78') for the Angolan squad, who have no chance of reaching the quarter-finals of the African competition.
With this result, Académica do Lobito, who only have one point, are last placed, while Club Africain, still with the possibility of qualifying for the quarter-finals, are in second place, with 10.
In the first meeting between the two, the Benguela team (Académica do Lobto) were beaten at 11 de Novembro Stadium, in Luanda, by 1-3.
Académica do Lobito were beaten by Rivers United from Nigeria (0-3 and 2-3), Club Africain from Tunisia (1-3), by Dreams from Ghana (2-3 and 0-4), while the African beat Dreams from Ghana (2-0), Académica do Lobito (3-1) and Rivers United (0-1 and 3-0).
