Luanda – The national under 14 and under 16 tennis teams, in both sexes, left this Friday for Harare, Zimbabwe, to compete in the ITF/CAT Southern African Zone Junior Championships, to run from 07 to 15 January.
After the preparation programme that was carried out in Luanda, the Angolan tennis teams players, being managed by coach João Almeida, are vying for the qualification for the next African Championship, set for March, in Tunisia.
The Angolan delegation is led by the vice chairman of the Angolan Tennis Federation, João Nsanda.
In the previous edition, also in Harare, the National Male Team failed to get the pass to the semi-finals.
