Luanda - The senior men's national handball team beat today (Saturday) the Portuguese team of Águas Santas, by 32 -26, in the fourth preparation game for the African Championship, which takes place in Portugal.
At halftime of the match, played in the Gaia region, northern Portugal, the Angolan team held a short lead of 16-15.
The country as a whole carries out the training camp in Portuguese lands, aiming at its presence in the 26th African Championship of the sport, taking place from the 17th to the 27th of this year, in Cairo (Egypt).
This was the fourth friendly match of the National Team, coached by coach Filipe Cruz, after the double victory over FC Porto, by 28-24 and 35-33, and the Cape Verde team, by 28-26, respectively.
