Luanda – Angola U-18 men's basketball team failed to reach the final of the African Championship "Afrobasket", after being beaten by Egypt 57-67in the semi-final of the competition taking place in Madagascar.
Angola face Mali, which lost to host Madagascar (81-84), for the third position of the Afrobasket.
The Angola women’s team, on their turn, face Madagascar for the third position of the Afrobasket being held imultaneously.
Should the Angola women team win, the national squad would reach the same position they achieved in 2018, in Mozambique.
