Luanda - Physical recovery exercises marked today, in Luanda, the training of the Senior Women's National Football Team, who are preparing for their participation in the Cosafa Cup, from the 4th to the 15th of October, in South Africa.
The session took approximately an hour, at the 22 de Junho Stadium, with the presence of 23 players, and coach Sousa Garcia guided the team to some stretching and movement, culminating in tactical actions and ball control.
The “Welwitschias”, National Team's official name, are set to travel to south Africa on Monday, October 2nd.
In the tournament, Angola are in Group B, alongside Zambia, current holder of the trophy, Mozambique and Comoros.
On the opening day, Angolans will play at 11 am with the Comoros, in the province of Gauteng. In the same venue, at 2:30 pm, Zambia will face Mozambique, in a game to conclude the first round of Group B.
The players Rita (4 de Junho FC do Huambo), Odilia (Amigas do Porto da Huíla), goalkeepers are part of the squad.
The defence players Ketcha, Dorcassia, Vanuza (1º de Agosto), Ary Papel (4 de Junho FC do Huambo), Nela (Terra Nova FC) and Neuma (Tchapesseca FC from Huambo).
Included are the midfielders Marlene, Ana, Sara and Margarete (1º de Agosto), Chiquita, Márcia (Terra Nova FC), Guilhermina (Estrela da Huíla), Pauleta (Nacional de Benguela), Ladainha (Atlético do Cunene), Messi (Petro de Luanda), Luciana (Cab Star FC de Benguela), Zita (Glorioso FC da Huíla) and Ngonguinha (Exército FC).
The group is completed by strikers Cristina (1º de Agosto) and Marceló (RSD Guelson FC).
