Dundo – Striker Mussá, midfielders Shaquille and Victoriano, as well as left-back Lomalissa, are out, due to injury, for Sagrada Esperança da Lunda-Norte’s game to adjust the calendar for the 11th round of the first division National Football Championship (Girabola'2024/25) against Isaac de Benguela.
At the launch of the Saturday's rescheduled game at Dundo, Sagrada Esperança's assistant coach, António Lebo Lebo, said that players Muenho, Água Doce, Polaco and Celso will be the replacements for the aforementioned absences.
He highlighted that Lepwa and Djaló have already recovered from their injuries and could start in the game against Isaac de Benguela.
Lebo Lebo also stated that after being crossed out in the African Champions League, the club is now focused on Girabola and for Saturday's game, only victory matters, taking into account the club's objectives, which is to finish the first round in the first five positions.
He said that the African Champions Club League raised the players' competitive levels, also allowing the technical team, led by Francisco Moniz 'Frank", to correct some mistakes, promising a different stance for the club in internal competitions.
"Tomorrow we will have a more offensive, dynamic, competitive Sagrada Esperança with a thirst for victory", he stressed.
He added that the club's objective for the last three games of the 1rst round is to win at least 7 of the expected 9 points.
Sagrada Esperança, with three fewer games, are placed 6th in Girabola, with 17 points, while Isaac, with 5 points, come in the 16th position.
The race is led by Petro de Luanda, with 33 points, followed by Wiliete de Benguela, with 32.
