Luanda – Angola’s Sagrada Esperança da Lunda Norte drew nil-nil with Esperance de Tunis on Friday, in the 2nd round game of Group D of the African Champions League played in 11 de Novembro Stadium, in Luanda.
The Angolan squad – who were thrashed away 1-5 in the previous round by the Pyramids of Egypt by – had a resilient posture this time and put up a “good fight” against a title contender squad.
Sagrada Esperança, Angola’s vice champions, will play the Champions League’s third round away in Djoliba, Bamako (Mali), on 15 December. JAD/MC/jmc
