Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, Thursday in Luanda, gave assurances that two stadiums would be built in the provinces of Uíge and Huambo.
Without giving details of the budget, size or start of the work, which will be carried out and financed by a private company, the Angolan head of state simply said that the stadiums would be of an international dimension.
Speaking to journalists from five national and foreign media outlets about public works in the country, he noted the pavilions at Kilamba (in Luanda), Welvitchia (Namibe), and Palanca Negra Gigante (Malanje), built by a private company.
These properties were built on the occasion of the Roller Hockey World Cup, held in the country in 2013.
