Luanda – President João Lourenço has congratulated the Angolan senior females National Handabll Team on the conquest of their 16th African Nation’s Cup, after beating Senegal by 27-18, in Kinshasa (DRC), on Saturday.
On a message, the Head of State highlights the “vibrant and deserved” conquest.
“I effusively salute everyone that contributed to one more resounding conquest for the Angolan sport, with emphasis on the Warrior Pearls”, wrote the president.
He then stressed that “this is the victory of hard work, dedication, resilience and unequivocal demonstration that we really can do it when we unite”.
