Luanda - Petro de Luanda's senior women's handball team qualified this Friday, in Brazzaville, for the final of the 44th edition of the African Champion Clubs' Cup, taking place in the Republic of Congo in the semi-final match, the Angolan “oil” team beat Al Ahly from Egypt, 22-18, after a lead of just 9-7 at half-time.
With this triumph, coach Vivaldo Eduardo's men are present in the final of the competition, where they will also face the Angolan team
of 1º de Agosto, who beat DGSP from Congo Brazzaville, 27-24, in the semi-final this Friday.
The 1º de Agosto are the holders of the continental title.
