The match played at the Arena pavilion in Kigali (Rwanda), was decided in the last quarter following successive draws, with the Angolan representative being more successful at the end.

Egypt's Al Ahly knocked out hosts REG with a 94-77 win, while Mali's Stade Malien beat South Africa's Cape Town Tigers 78-69.
