Luanda – Petro de Luanda last Saturday lost 0-2 to Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, in the first leg of the quarter finals of the African Football League (AFL), a game played in 11 de Novembro stadium, in the Angolan capital.
The goals of the South Africans were scored by Marcelo Bravo om 68th minute and Masseko (81`).
Petro lost various goals opportunities, having even missed a penalty kick.
The second-leg encounter is scheduled to happen on October 24 (Tuesday), in Pretoria.
Meanwhile, in the first day of this phase, on Friday Simba FC of Tanzania drew 2-2 with Al Ahly of Egypt.
On Sunday afternoon, TP Mazembe (DRC) will receive Esperance de Tunis (Tunisia), while Nigeria’s Enymba will face Wydad of Casablanca (Morocco).
