Luanda – Angola’s Petro de Luanda won on Saturday the 45th Edition of the Africa Women's Handball Championship for Clubs Champions, after beating Tunisia’s ASF Sahel in the final by 35-30 in the extra time.
The score saw a 24 goals draw at full time, however in the extra time Petro managed to secure the victory.
The Angolan outlet lifted the trophy for the last time in this African club competition in 2013.
Angola’s 1ª de Agosto won the competition in the last 3 editions.
