Luanda – Angola’s Petro de Luanda senior women's handball team qualified Saturday for the final of the African Clubs Championship, after defeating Egypt’s Al Alhy 31-18, in a competition taking place in Morocco.
At half-time of the semi-final match, the Angolan representative had a 19-8 advantage, showing all its competitive superiority over the Egyptian opponent.
In the meantime, the Angolan club, 1º de Agosto is far from defending its continental title, after being defeated by the same team Al Ahly,20-26 on Wednesday.
