Luanda - Improvements in defence, attack and tactics dominated the first training session of the senior women's national handball team on Monday, in Luanda, as part of their preparation to take part in the African Games to take place in Accra, Ghana from 13 to 22 March.
For two hours, the morning session took place at the Paulo Bunze pavilion, with the involvement of the nineteen players pre-selected, twelve of them from 1º de Agosto squad and seven from Petro de Luanda.
Coached by the Spanish Carlos Viver, the National Team also known as The Pearls are looking to retain the title won in the 2019 edition in Rabat, Morocco.
