Luanda - The former chairman of the Angolan Basketball Federation, Paulo Madeira, has been appointed Secretary of State for Sports, an official statement said Friday, ANGOP has learnt.
By the time of his appointment , Paulo Madeira was chairman of Zone VI of FIBA Africa, for the 2023/27 period.
The new head of sports in Angola, who replaces Teresa Ulundo, is an executive member of the Angolan Olympic Committee (COA).
Francisco Boaventura Chitapa has been sacked from the post of Secretary of State for Youth, while Danila Patrícia de Almeida Bragança has been appointed Secretary of State for Youth.
