Luanda - Angola national roller skate team will participate for the first time in the African championship of this sport, to be held in Lagos, Nigeria, on August 2 to 6 in several disciplines.
Angola will mark an unprecedented presence in a competition of this kind with roller skating, In Line Speed races, Slalom Classico and Slalom Speed teams in both men and women categories.
According to Tecas Manuel, coordinator of the first Luanda roller skating championship to be held from April 6 to June 30, the best classified athletes in each category will be part of the national teams.
"The time has come for us to compete in an official manner and develop these disciplines of skating", Manuel said.
