Luanda - The senior women's national handball team won today (Sunday), the similar team of Spain, by 26-21, in the second round of Group B of the Paris2024 Olympic Games.
At half-time of the match, played at the Pavilhão Arena Paris Sul, the Angolan team was at a disadvantage of only one goal (14-15).
With this result, the African champion redeemed herself from the defeat in her debut, Wednesday, against the Netherlands (Netherlands), by 31-34.
In the other match, scheduled for 8:00 am, in the same venue, Brazil faces Hungary, with more of a sign tending to the side of the South Americans.
After the triumph in the debut, the Brazilians want to score twice against the Hungarians.
Angola plays again on Tuesday with Hungary for the third round.
