Luanda - Interclube and 1° de Agosto will face each other on Friday at the Cidadela pavilion, in Luanda Province, for access to the final of the 45th National Senior Men's Handball Championship.
To reach the semi-finals, defending champions Interclube won their group in the classifications from first to eighth place.
Interclube scored six points, due to victories over Sporting de Cabinda (38-16), Petro de Luanda (36-21) and Escolinha do Huambo (47-27), while 1° de Agosto lost to Grupo Desportivo da Banca (22-23) and beat Interclube B (32-26) and Renascimento (38-19).
In the other semi-final game, to be played from 6 pm, Grupo Desportivo da Banca will face Petro de Luanda, also at the Cidadela pavilion.
In addition to winning 1° de Agosto, Banca beat Sporting de Cabinda, 22-15, while Petro de Luanda lost to Interclube A, 36-21.
Banca also beat Sporting de Cabinda (35-28) and Estrela Palácio (50-15).
On Thursday afternoon, Interclube A beat Sporting de Cabinda, 38-16, while 1° de Agosto defeated Interclube B (32-16).
Other games in the qualifiers for fifth to eighth place, to be played at the Cidadela pavilion, are Sporting de Cabinda versus Renascimento do Uíge and Hadja Models playing against Escolinha do Namibe.
