Luanda - The absences of Ary Papel and Bastos Quissanga mark the call-up of the National Football Team, announced Tuesday in Luanda, for the 3rd and 4th rounds of Group D, qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, to be played in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.
The “Palancas Negras”, the nickname of the Angolan National Football team, will face their counterparts from Eswatini and Cameroon, on the 7th and 11th of June, at the “11 de Novembro” Stadium, in the country's capital.
Coach Pedro Gonçalves' squad, announced at a press conference at the headquarters of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), is made up of the following players:
(Goalkeeper) - Langanga (Sagrada Esperança), Dominique (Etoile
Carouge) and Neblú (1st of August).
