Paris – Angolan Juliana Moko placed sixth in the 100 meters in athletics for the visually impaired (class T11), with a time of 12.56, in the Paralympic Games competition, held at the Stade de France, in Paris.

A sprinter started running at around 12 seconds, as in the qualifiers, in the morning, she clocked 12:51, compared to the 13:03 she had as her best time.

The semi-finals featured the Angolan Júliana Moko, Zhou Guohua from China, the Namibian Ishitile Lahore, Liu C (China), Lope Peres (Venezuela), Silva Sipolador, Júlia dos Santos and Geber dos Santos ( both from Brazil), divided into two series of four each.

To recall, the athlete from the province of Benguela, also qualified for the semi-finals in the 400 meters, in which she was also the sixth best athlete overall.

This is her second participation in an event of this type, after debuting in the Tokyo edition in 2020.

Juliana Moko will run again on the sixth day, in the morning, in the 200-meter preliminaries. It will be her last competition in this 17th edition of the Paralympic Games which ends on September 8th.  MC/ADR/MRA/DOJ
