Luanda - The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MINJUD) is organising a National Sports Meeting on Thursday, in Luanda Province, to take place at the Venâncio de Moura Diplomatic Academy.
A statement from the Ministry to which ANGOP had access on Tuesday states that the meeting aims to gather contributions on the current state of national sports, goals and actions to leverage the sector in the 2024-2027 period.
The event, which is to happen under the slogan “For a more inclusive, developed and sustainable sport”, will bring together current leaders, former ministers of Youth and Sports, former chairman of the federations, the Angolan Olympic and Paralympic Committee and other sports agents.
The opening ceremony will be led by the incumbent MINJUD minister, Rui Falcão.
