Luanda - Strategic partnership initiatives were the basis of the meeting of the minister of Youth and Sports, Rui Falcão, with the Executive Secretariat of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), in Lisbon, Portugal, for the development of the sector in Angola.
According to a note from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MINJUD) sent to ANGOP this Thursday, the points of the meeting included the importance of cooperation and continuous dialogue in order to achieve the established goals and guarantee the success of the initiatives underway.
Topics such as the implementation of joint policies, the development of innovative projects and the exchange of experiences for the advancement of youth and sport in the countries of the community were also discussed.
The meeting was part of the preparations for the 15th Conference of Ministers of Youth and Sports of the CPLP, scheduled for Portugal, and, according to the document, reinforces Angola's commitment, as rotating president of the CPLP Youth and Sports, to promote and strengthen relations between the Portuguese-speaking countries.
On Tuesday, the first day of his visit to Portugal, Rui Falcão met with the executive secretariat of the CPLP and the board of the Portuguese Sports and Youth Institute (IPDJ), discussing issues related to youth and sports, as well as increasing cooperation between Angola and Portugal.
