Luanda - The Minister of Youth and Sports, Rui Falcão, on Friday in Luanda, defended the recovery and construction of infrastructures in educational establishments to serve school sport.
The minister announced a plan to rehabilitate built spaces and the construction of other small ones, with the aim of making school sport a real support for high competition.
Speaking during the First Informal Meeting with Sports Journalists, held at the Sports Gallery, with the aim of exchanging ideas, Rui Falcão advocated inter-class, inter-school, municipal and provincial games to culminate in national championships.
The minister said there are plans to build community sports centers with a covered pavilion with two or three stands for families to watch the matches, as well as a football pitch and a swimming pool.
The first meeting with the press was attended by at least 50 professionals from various media outlets in the country.It has been indicated that it will be organized within four months, with the next one planned for September this year.
