Luanda - The minister of Youth and Sports, Rui Falcão, on Thursday in Luanda Province highlighted three factors for the materialisation of the sector's National Development Plan for the 2024-2027 period.
These factors are the need for well-trained coaches, the creation of spaces for practising sports, and adequate means to make the activity more representative.
According to the minister, who was speaking at the opening of the 3rd National Sports Meeting, held in the country's capital city, these assumptions will help increase the number of players, as well as of teams in the different sports.
Among the various issues, the minister highlighted the importance of decentralising certain services at local government level, in order to achieve the objectives set, by building infrastructures according to the recipients.
At the meeting, which aimed to gather contributions for the plan up to 2027, the minister called on sports agents and guests to present solutions so that the document can respond to the sector's needs.
