Ramiros – The Angolan minister of Youth and Sports, Rui Falcão, on Sunday requested the athletes of the national futsal team to have an exemplary participation in the World Cup scheduled for September 14 to October 6 in Uzbekistan.

Speaking to the press after Angola finished runners-up in the African championship with a 1-5 defeat in the final against Morocco, the minister defended the commitment to a worthy participation.

“The athletes should work to obtain one or two wins, which would be good for national sport”, he added.

Rui Falcão considered satisfactory the second position the national team got in the African competition and reiterated the importance to continue working to win the title in the next edition.

He recognized the superiority of the African champion team at the final, considering that one of the ways to reach the level of the opponents is to work hard.
