“During my visit to the Youth House, I got the impression that we need to do more and better, correct some things that involve behavior and have better management”, he said.
Regarding the space in the Dimba zone, he said that it is a land with a wall, but wasteland that could be used in the future for the implementation of something with the aim to help young people living in the area.
“This is a piece of land that was given to the ministry many years ago and we came to see what the space is like and from there we will start a study to see if it is possible to build a sports hall here in the near future”, he said.
He stressed that he will continue to visit the facilities of the ministry across the country to conduct a survey and plan what can be done in the context of community sports.
The Youth House in Viana was the first type of infrastructure built in Angola and was inaugurated on August 26, 2006.
It is a space in which young people, in addition to some training sessions, benefit from counseling about sexually transmitted diseases, the danger in using drugs as well as the excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages, among other actions. AA/HDC/MRA/DOJ
