Dundo - Sagrada Esperança, the only Angolan representative in the African Champions Club League in football, arrived on Thursday in the city of Bamako, Mali, for the match on the 3rd round of group D, against Djoliba AC.
The game is scheduled for Sunday at the 26 de Março stadium, in Bamako, with a capacity for 50,000 spectators.
Before the day of the match, the team will do two training sessions to adapt to the field.
Sagrada Esperança are third in group D, with one point, due to a defeat and an equal number of draws, while Djoliba AC de Bamako, have one loss and one draw and are the last in the group.
The group is led by Pyramids FC from Egypt, with 4 points, followed by Espérance from Tunis, also with four points.
In the "Girabola2024/25" National Championship, Sagrada Esperança currently occupy the 5th place, with 17 points, the result of 4 wins, 5 draws and three defeats in 12 games. The race was won by Petro de Luanda, with 33 points.
The Djoliba Athletic Club are placed 5th in the Malian championship, with three points, the result of a victory in a close match. The competition is led by USFAS Bamako, with five points.
