Luanda - Petro de Luanda drew goalless Saturday with TP Mazembe, in the first leg of the African Football Champions League quarter finals played at the Lubumbashi Stadium in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Even playing in the DRC team's stronghold, the Angolan champion contradicted the intentions and initial favoritism of the hosts that were unable to take advantage in front of their supporters and return home with one point.
The second leg match takes place on April 6t at 11 de Novembro Stadium, in Luanda.
To reach this stage, Petro de Luanda led Group C, with 12 points, while TP Mazembe finished second in series A, with 10 points.
