Luanda – Kabuscorp do Palanca team on Thursday in Ndalatando City, northern Cuanza Norte Province, managed to get the pass to the First Division National Football Championship, also dubbed Girabola, after beating Ferrovia do Huambo by 3-2, in a second division last eliminatory encounter held in Dinises stadium.
The Kabuscorp goals were scored by Tchubila (11 min by penalty and at 84min) and Didié (90+6), while Gaio scored two (44´e 69´) for Ferrovia.
With this result, Kabuscorp do Palanca are the third and last team to move up to the top division championship (Girabola2023/2024), after São Salvador do Kongo (Zaire Province) and União de Malanje (Malanje Province).
Thus, Kabuscorp do Palanca, return to Girabola after having been relegated to the second division for administrative reasosn in 2019. They had won the Girabola title, for the first time, in 2013.
Meanwhile, the relegation decision had been taken by the governing body due to the fact that Kabuscorp Club board were reluctant to pay a debt they had with the Brazilian international Rivaldo Ferreira, who had a contratct with the Luanda team, as well as because of another litigation with DR Congo’s TP Mazembe involving the signing of the Congolese player Tresor Mputo Mabi.
