Paris – Juliana Moko failed on Thursday, to qualify for the 200m final in women's athletics for visually impaired athletes (class T11) of the Paralympic Games, taking place in the French city of Paris.
The Angolan ranked 7th, among 8 competitors, divided into 2 blocks of 4 each, with a time of 26.28.
However, the sprinter improved her personal best, which was 26.91, as occurred in the 100 and 200 meters.
In her 2nd participation in the Paralympic Games, after Tokyo 2020, Juliana Moko achieved 12.51 (13.03) in the 100m semi-finals and 1:03.09 (1:09.85) in the 400m.
For the final of this event (200m), to be held on the seventh day, the following qualified: Chinese Liu Cuiqing (24.77), Namibian Ishitile Lahja (24.82), Brazilian Geber dos Santos (25.00) and Colombian Peres Lopes (25.42).
Angola end the participation in the event on Friday (Sept 6) with Sabino Bunbua, in the 400m for athletes with motor disabilities, class T46.
