Jiu-jitsu team "shine" again in world cup

Luanda - The National Jiu-Jitsu Team won medals again, namely one silver and two bronze, in the World Championship, which is being held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The silver medal was won by the fighter Ruth Baltazar, in the 52kg category, and the bronze medals were won by Sivi François (-45kg) and Marcelina Caliqui (62kg), in the traditional jiu-jitsu version.

 

In total, Angola already has five medals, after the gold won by Heliane Caio, as well as the bronze medal, won by Alíria Mendes.

 

Angola participates in the world cup with 20 athletes of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and 12 of traditional Jiu-jitsu.
