Luanda – Angolan striker Jaredi acknowledged Thursday in Luanda, the difficulties the national team will face in Sunday’s match with South Africa for the second leg of the 2023 CHAN in Algeria.
Speaking in pre-match press conference, the scorer of the second goal that enabled Angola to have a 2-0 lead in the qualifying race said the opponent will do their utmost to reverse the score that is against them, adding that he is convinced that the work done will allow the national team to obtain a positive result.
Jared added that, while he trusts the defensive sector to avoid conceding goals, he is prepared to score.
The Angolan defender Hossi, who did not play the first leg , said he is ready to contribute to a good performance of the team, as long as he gets the confidence of the coaching staff.
"The South Africans may be the best in our area, but we are well prepared to face any the opponent", Hossi said.
