Luanda – Interclube face 1º de Agosto Saturday at the Welwitschia Mirabilis pavilion in the city of Namibe for the 29th edition of the Angola women's senior basketball Super Cup.
Led by Elisa Pires, Interclube has won two editions of the competition that will officially open the national championship season.
Without the North American player Italee Lucas and the Mozambican Ingvild Mucuaro, Interclube will only count on Angolan players in their attack to contest for the first title of the season.
On the 1º de Agosto side which is coached by Walter Costa, it will keep the same line-up as last season, and also has six players from the Academy.
In the 2022 edition, Interclube beat 1º Agosto 74-62 in a match played at the Cidadela pavilion.
