Luanda – Angola senior men’s hockey team travel Tuesday to Argentina for a short-training stage, ahead of the World Championship of the sport, set for 4-13 November.
To the stage of the competition travel the athletes Pi, Fábio and Wilson from (Académica de Luanda) Dori (Petro de Luanda) and Giovete (Sagrado Coração de Jesus).
The athletes Filipe Bernardino, André Centeno, Martin Payero and Francisco Veludo, who play in Europe, are in Argentina since Sunday.
Angola share the group B, along with Mozambique, Argentina and Spain, with the last the title holders.
In Angola, the athletes carried out four training sessions, under the guidance of the assistant coach Alberto Domingos "Jó".
The national team are coached by the Argentine Miguel Belbruno.
