Luanda – Angola's participation in the 4th World Skating Games, from 16 to 22 September, in Novara (Italy), is valued at 600 million Kwanzas (about US$ 673.890).
The information was recently provided to ANGOP, in Luanda, by the vice-president of the Angolan Skating Federation, José Gamboa, in statements about the preparation of the national mission for the event.
According to the source, the federation is waiting for the amounts to be made available, in an action that involves the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Finance.
José Gamboa stated that, in the world championship, the specialty of skateboarding seeks to qualify for the 2028 Olympic Games, in Los Angeles (USA).
In addition to skateboarding, Angola will also participate in the world championships, with the senior national team in roller hockey, inline hockey, freestyle and skateboarding, with internships planned for all of them in the city of Barcelos (Portugal).
In the World Roller Hockey Championship, Angola aims to maintain or improve the 6th place achieved in 2022, in the San Juan (Argentina) edition.
