Luena - The Angolan Government has a cross-cutting agenda for the resolution of top concerns of youth, the Secretary of State for Youth, Danila Bragança, said on Tuesday, in the province of Moxico.
Speaking as part of the public presentation of the Strategic Plan for Integral Development of this fringe, the official said that this agenda created by the Government will allow the materialization of State policies, aimed at youth, with a view to meeting 'the great concerns' of young people.
These concerns, she said, are linked to the sectors of education, technical and vocational training, employability, housing, entrepreneurship and massification of sport.
She recognized the difficulties faced by Angolan youth, having stated that such concerns cannot be solved only by the responsible ministry, but in sync with other sectors, so that policies aimed at this fringe are 'felt and reflective' in the day-to-day life of this group.
The government official said that the Strategic Plan for the Integral Development of Youth aims to bring together the voice of young people for a direction of harmony and inclusive participation, in the processes of formalization and decision-making of public policies, aimed at this group.
'We will do advocacy, putting pressure on other sectors so that policies aimed at young people are felt,' she promised.
On the occasion, the President of the Provincial Association of Motor Sports, Cesaltino Neves, defended the materialization of the plans designed to meet the needs of youth and the population in general.
'The country has drawn up several plans, but they have not had the expected results, so political will is needed, because we are not blind,' he said.
One of the youngs, Francisco Chimine, defended the improvement of sports infrastructures to boost the different sports in the region, as well as the construction of access roads to facilitate young people to promote agricultural activity and invest in entrepreneurship.
This meeting took place at the House of Culture of the City of Luena, with the participation of dozens of young people from the province of Moxico. ISAU/TC/YD/DOJ
