Luanda - Scottish professional golfer Douglas McGuigan won Monday (17) in Luanda the Senior Classic 2023 international tournament, by totalling 206 strokes, in 54 holes, played at the Mangais course in Luanda
In three rounds of 18 holes each, which started last Saturday, Douglas always had a below par showing in each round, having finished the participation with a positive balance of -10, in 216 strokes regulated in 54 holes.
The 52-year-old Scotsman had the highest score on the opening day, with -5 (67), on the second day he scored -2 (70) and ended with -3 (69), in a total of 37 professional competitors, dethroning South African Keith Horne, who won the first in 2022.
The South Africans Wallie Coetsee and Michael Scholz, are the first and second runner up, respectively.
