Luanda - A solidarity golf tournament will be held on September 28th this year, in Mangais sports complex, with the participation of 24 teams, to raise funds in order to equip two classrooms with digital and IT resources in the province of Cabinda.
The event, which is an initiative of the company “Internet Technologies Angola”, in its 11th edition, will be played over 18 holes with teams of four athletes each, for a total of 96 athletes.
According to the general director of the organizing company, Francisco Pinto Leite, registrations are open until August 28th.
In 2023, 25 million kwanzas was raised and was used to equip computer rooms at a primary school in the city of Maquela do Zombo and at the Uíge Polytechnic Institute.
With this action, which began in 2012 and did not take place in 2020 due to COVID-19, Internet Technologies Angola equipped more than 10 schools in the provinces of Cabinda, Huíla, Luanda, Namibe, Uíge.
