Luanda - Petro de Luanda are cementing their lead of the top division National Football Championship (Girabola2024/25) with 18 points, after beating by 2-0 on Saturday, in Luanda, the Kabuscorp do Palanca squad, a match counting for the 7th round.
The goals were scored by Aparício, on 9 minutes of the game played in Coqueiros Stadium, and Quinito (14’). Petro were superior for most of the game, thus confirming their plan to revalidate the championship title.
The game was momentarily interrupted due to the fact that Kabuscorp supporters started throwing objects onto the field alledgedly to show disagreement with the conduct of the referee. However, the calm returned and the game resumed without any other incident.
With this result, Kabuscorp do Palanca remain in the 10th position with six points.
In the next round (8th) Petro will receive Santa Rita de Cássia from Uige, placed 2nd with 13th points.
