Luanda - Petro de Luanda on Saturday thrashed Sporting de Cabinda by 5-2, in the home of the latter, in a match counting for the 11th round of the first division National Football Championship (Girabola2023/24).
The goals of the match, played in Tafe Stadium, were scored by Tiago Azulão (1 and 38 minutes), Gilberto (23’ and 68’) and Tó Carneiro (86’) for Petro, while Anderson (80 and 90+1) scored for the host team.
With this result, Petro de Luanda (title holders) have 17 points in the second position of the standing.
The championship is being led by Kabuscorp do Palanca with 21 points, while Sporting de Cabinda are last with 5 points.
