Luanda – Sagrada Esperança last Friday beat São Salvador de Kongo by 2-0, in the opening game of the second round of the top division National Football Championship (Girabola2023/24).
The goals were scored by Quimuanga (self inflicted) at 34 minutes and Beni Papel (75’).
With this result, Sagrada Esperança (one of the country’s representatives in the African Confederation Cup – also dubbed Nelson Mandela Cup) are provisionally the leaders of the championship with six points.
